blcr-testsuite software package provides Userspace tools to Checkpoint and Restart Linux processes, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install blcr-testsuite
blcr-testsuite is installed in your system.
Make ensure the blcr-testsuite package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep blcr-testsuite *
You will get with blcr-testsuite package name, version, architecture and description in a table
